AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Remake) is a fanmade remake of Metroid 2: Return of Samus, created by Milton Guasti and released in 2016.

It was subject to a takedown request by Nintendo in the run-up to the release of the official remake of Metroid 2, Metroid: Samus Returns.

Synopsis

After teams dispatched to eliminate all the metroids on their home world of SR388 begin going missing, Samus is deployed to finish the mission.

Kyria began streaming the game on August 22nd 2021. In a series consisting of three streams, it completed the game on September 23rd.
