Yakuza 4 is an action-adventure title by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by Sega. Initially released in Japan in 2010, it was released in the West for the Sony PlayStation 3 in 2011. A remastered version was released for the Sony PlayStation 4 in 2019, with that version coming to PC in 2021.
Synopsis
Set one year after the events of Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4 features 4 main protagonists: loan shark Shun Akiyama, who loans 100 Million Yen to a woman named Lily, later finding out those connected to her have begun dying. Taigo Saejima, a Yakuza member serving time in prison for a 1985 massacre of 18 men from a rival gang, detective Masayoshi Tanimura, investigating a murder connected to Akiyama, and returning protagonist Kiryu Kazuma, once again back in his orphanage in Okinawa before being dragged back into the Tojo Clan's problems.
