Resident Evil 2 (2019) is a survival horror game by Capcom, released in January of 2019. It released for the Sony PlayStation 4, the Microsoft Xbox One, and PC.

Resident Evil 2 is a remake of the 1998 game of the same name. The game was met with universal acclaim at launch.

Synopsis

Following the events of Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2 sees Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield facing off against a zombie threat that has taken over Raccoon City. Both must fight back against the undead threat, uncover the truth of the outbreak, and escape the city alive.

Kyria first streamed Resident Evil 2 on August 2nd 2021, and finished it on August 9th after 3 streams. She played it again in 2022 to gain a rare achievement, and again in 2023 as a speedrun.

Trivia

• This is one of the few games Kyria has played in 3 different years, the others being Metroid: Zero Mission and World of Horror.
• This game was not initially intended to be part of the Midnight Massacre, but was added when Kyria had extra time during one of the streams.
